REVIEW:
Every time that I finish a book by Morgan Parker, I think to myself "Amazing story... How can he top that?"... Then I read a new story by him, and I'm again blown away by it's wonderfulness.
This story is no exception.
The synopsis clues you in with what to expect: Elliot's wife, Karen, tells him that he's not the biological father of their teenage daughter, Elena. Karen tells Elliot this right before she dies.
Morgan weaves a wonderful blend of mystery, humor, sadness, sexiness, frustration... and he writes it flawlessly.
He writes relatable and likable characters, characters that you keep thinking about after you have finished the book.
I highly recommend adding this to your reading list, if you haven't done so already.
