Come Undone
I was introduced to Jessica Hawkins' work recently, and I have to admit that after one book I was hooked!
"Come Undone" put me through so many emotions (to me that's a good thing... it takes a great book to be able to do that to me). There was humor, angst, sexiness... all done so well.
Olivia is going through a lot. I found myself questioning her judgement on many occasions, but as you learn more of her story, you come to understand why she is how she is, and why she makes her decisions. Her life isn't easy, although she tries to put on a smile and make it appear that everything is ok.
David... *sigh*, David. It's hard to not like this guy (you'll see...). ;) He's sweet, charming, hot.
Decisions are made.. Life changing decisions. I was on an emotional roller coaster; but as I read through Olivia's eyes, I couldn't help but sympathize. She's put in an emotionally challenging situation, and she's trying to figure out what will make her life a happy one.

Come Alive
Once again, Jessica Hawkins has amazed me! This book continues where book one (Come Undone) left off. Olivia has made her decision, and now she has to handle the consequences (and the reactions and judgements from people).
Same as with the prior book, this one didn't spare my feelings ;) Jessica has a great way with words, and she tells a wonderful story. Her writing makes you feel what her characters are going through, almost as if you're experiencing the same emotions.
This series is one of my favorites.

Wonderful conclusion to the Cityscape trilogy!
These books have had me captivated from the beginning. I'm struggling to write this review, because I enjoyed this series so much, and I'm sad to see it end (kinda like saying "goodbye" to the characters...).
To sum it up, this is a fantastic series! Some of the choices made in the story are questionable at times, but this series is so well-written, and the issues in the book are handled with care.
These characters are wonderful, likable, caring, emotional... and feisty, argumentative, insistent... Lol.
There's so much humor in these books, too. Some of the banter between the characters had me giggling :)
This is definitely a set that I'll be re-reading again at some point, because I've really enjoyed this storyline.

If you haven't read this series yet, I highly recommend getting it!
These characters have fast become some of my favorites, and I was actually really sad to see the series finish (it's tough saying "goodbye"!)
I thoroughly enjoyed these books, and I'll definitely be re-reading it again at some point soon.
Great job, Jessica Hawkins!! I can't wait to see what your future writing has in store for us readers. :)
